Dico Manufacturing Company Irving, Texas 2003-Present: General Manager Manufacturing of military life support equipment specializing in hospital bedding for burn victims, Safety Harnesses and armycots. Responsible for all solicitation bidding and purchasing activities. Negotiated contracts that ensured quality and met standards, generating extensive programmatic growth. Managed resources needed to implement the project and maintain budgets, successfully completing all projects on time and under budget. Developing manufacturing procedures to meet all military specifications. Modified time lines and work schedules according to project changes, supporting swift and positive resolutions. Supervised all logistics, performance goals, recruiting and plant operations, holding employees accountable for goals.

Adept Property Service / Jani-Mart Irving, Texas 1992 -2003: Owner / Operator of successful janitorial service and supply distributor. Managed growth of company to one of largest Property Management/Janitorial company in the Dallas Fort Worth area, generating extensive profit and growth resulting in sales of $450,000.00 per year. Managed fifteen employees and over thirty buildings per month. Accumulated a phenomenal amount of knowledge in the janitorial industry, chemicals and paper products. Fabricated Technologies, Inc Irving, Texas 1990-1991: Recruited as a Consultant by Fabricated Technologies for my expertise in manufacturing Army Cots during Operation Desert Storm. Evaluated and implemented to the specifications of quality control and the production requirements required for all tooling, production and deliveries. Doubled tooling and machine capacity, added second shift to meet accelerated delivery schedule of 10,000 cots per month. All employees worked with pride and honor under my demands, schedules, requirements and management to provide our troops with on time deliveries under extreme times. Awarded Defense Logistics Agency recognition plaque for meeting the accelerated need of supplies for our troops overseas during Operation Desert Storm.

 Airline Instruments, Inc. Irving and Laredo, Texas 1979 - 1990 VP General Manager First opportunity in manufacturing after college, began working in packaging and was promoted over time to Vice President in charge of manufacturing Army Cots. Managed eighty plus employees, three shifts and eight production lines. Design and develop all tooling and machinery to accomplish the fastest and safest production line per military specifications. Continuously develop more efficient ways to produce high volume deliveries with higher profit margins. Ability to work and motivate in a multicultural environment.



EDUCATION: Associate, 1978 Eastfield College, Mesquite, Texas GPA: 4.0 Studied mechanical engineering with extreme enthusiasm. As a class project I developed and designed a multi cavity mold for plastic injection molding. Presented the blueprints to toolmakers and eventually used the mold to manufacture parts for the Department of Defense.
